10. Tatoosh: $100 million



I don’t know what the meaning Tatoosh is but I know it is belong to one of the richest person in the world, Paul Allen. It is 301 feet long and is completed with private theatre, swimming pool, 2 helipads and lobster tanks, which is ready to full all passengers during the trip

9. Annaliesse: $103 million

Annaliese has max capacity 50 passengers. It spans 280 feet long and is completed with 15 guest cabins. On board the ship, we can find a private spa, Salon, children playground, library, and a private cinema with 100 inches wide movie screen. The main cabin has a king sized bed and wide panoramic windows.

8. Alysia: $116 million

Andreas Liveras, a Businessman from Greek, is the owner of the private luxury rental yacht. Alysia is 290 feet long, the main cabin has a private deck, indoor Jacuzzi and one king size bed. Neorion shipyard designed and constructed the vessel in 2006. It has five decks and is equipped by scuba scooters for any passengers who want to enjoy the beauty of underwater panorama

7. Ecstasea: $129 million

Roman Abramovich, the boss of Chelsea FA, used to own the yacht before he sold it to an unknown wealthy American in June 2009. It is 250 feet long, De Voogt Naval architects design the interior and they enrich it with bamboo furniture from Terence Disdale. The constructor was Royal Van Lent that constructed the vessel in 2004. Inside the yacht, you can enjoy a disco room, private sauna, and Turkish baths. Outside the yacht, there is one retractable helipad ready to welcome passengers who ride a helicopter.

6. Pelorus: $130 million

Pelorus is another toy of famous Russian, Roman Abramovich. It is 337 feet long and 3 inches. Abramovich bought it from Saudi Arabian businessperson. Originally, Lurssen Yard from Breman, Germany, was the constructor, Tim Heywood was the designer, and the ship itself operated since 2003. After Abramovich purchased it, he added helipads, zero speed stabilizers, jet skies, include wave runners. For the yacht, Abramovich employs 48 crews to serve all passengers onboard the yacht

5. Octopus: $200 million



Paul Allen owns Octopus and he picked German Shipbuilder Lurssen to construct Octopus after he picked Jonathan Quinn Bernett from Seattle to design the blueprint. It is 416 feet long and is capable to accommodate 40 crews. It has one garage, which is capable to save seven small boats, 2 coppers, and a 10-pessenger submarine.

Jon Bannenberg designed the yacht and the builder was Lurssen Germany, a popular constructor of luxury yacht. Larry Elisson from Oracle and David Geffen are 2 names behind the ownership of the ship. It is 453 feet long and completed with Onyx countertops, private Jacuzzi, one gymnasium, one Sauna, an exclusive wine cellar, and one private theater with one big plasma screen. It is exclusive, expensive and has 82 cabins

3. Lady Moura: $210 million.

Prince Nasser Al Rashid is the owner of the vessel. Originally, Blohm+Voss from Germany constructed the vessel in 1990. The special thing about the ship is the size. It is so big so that it cannot dock at Monte Carlo Harbor. It operates with 60 crews and it has special features such as artificial beachfront completed with white sand and palm, a jumbo swimming pool with retractable roof, and many other facilities

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rasyid Al Maktoum, Prime minister and the most powerful man in UAE, owns Dubai luxury yacht. It used to be called panhandle or Platinum before went to the hand of current owner. It is 524 feet and 10 inches long. Philippe Starck designed the interior of the yacht. It can host 115 passengers and operates with 88 crews. As the facility, the yacht has a large swimming pool, squash court, a helipad, and mini aircraft hangar.

1. Eclipse: $1.2 Billion



June 12 2009 marked the first operation day of the ship. Roman Abramovich is the sole owner of the ship and he was spending more than a million dollar to beauty the ship and enrich it with advance defense mechanism. It is 528 feet long or 164 meters. It has two copper pads, 11 cabins for guests, view hot tubs, a disco hall, and 2 pools. As extra, Abramovich completed the vessel with three small boats, mini submarine that is capable to dive 50 meters deep, and 70 crews to operate it. The constructor was Blohm+Voss from Hamburg. As a protection system, the builder completed the ship with radar, intruder detection scanners, laser radar to scan CCD and paparazzi camera, and missile defense system. All these features complete the eclipse title as the most expensive yacht in the world
